Panzerkampfwagen 35 (t), commonly referred to as Panzer 35 (t) or abbreviated to Pz.Kpfw. 35 (t), was a light tank built in Czechoslovakia, which in World War II was used mainly by units of Nazi Germany. The letter (t) in its name meant tschechisch (German "Czech"). In service with the Czechoslovak forces, his formal designation was Light Tank model 35, but more commonly it was called LT vz. 35 or just LT-35.

A total of 434 machines were built; 244 of them were captured by the Germans when they occupied Bohemia and Moravia in March 1939, and 52 were acquired by the Slovaks when they declared independence from Czechoslovakia at the same time. Some others were exported to Bulgaria and Romania. In German service, these machines took part in the fighting during the early years of the war, especially the invasion of Poland, the Battle of France and the invasion of the Soviet Union, before they were withdrawn from service or sold out. In particular, the fighting in Russia revealed that the LT-35 was not suitable for cold weather operations and was also generally unreliable. This weakness, along with thin armor and insufficient firepower, was behind the decision to equip the 6th Armored Division during its retreat from Russia in April 1942 with other, stronger German tanks.
