The AH-64 Apache is an American combat helicopter used from the end of the Cold War to the present. In service with the US Army Air Force and some other armed forces, he replaced the older type AH-1 Cobra.

AH-64D is the culmination of the program of a modern American combat helicopter. The advanced model AH-64D Apache Longbow is equipped with an improved set of radar and weapon systems, for better survival. The main improvement over the Type A is the AN / APG-78 dome installed above the main rotor, which houses the Longbow radar.

The helicopters were further upgraded with more powerful rotors T700-GE-701C and a fully integrated cockpit. The front armor hull has been widened to accommodate the new systems.
