Plastic model and instructions.
Plastic model Zvezda 6185 - Soviet bomber Tupolev SB-2 in 1: 200 scale. The kit contains 16 pieces, length 61 mm, difficulty 1.
The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.
The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
Template information:
SB - a high-speed bomber developed in the design office under the command of Andrei Nikolayevich Tupolev, made its first flight on October 7, 1934. It was an advanced machine, excellent speed did not allow any modern warrior of the time to keep up. The SB entered service with high-speed bomber regiments, which were the backbone of the Soviet bomber fleet.
The machines took part in all the conflicts, from Spain to the first period of the Great Patriotic War. In 1941, the car was very outdated, the main German fighter easily caught up with the Soviet bomber. Despite everything, Soviet bombers attacked enemy columns, often during the day, without fighter cover. The pilots broke through the enemy's communications and dropped heavy bombs, only the lucky ones returned home and the German aces recorded 7-8 old, poorly protected bombers for their attacks, boasting such air victories.
