Plastic model and instructions.
Plastic model Zvezda 6246 - light tank T-26 (model 1933) in 1: 100 scale. The kit contains 6 pieces, length 45 mm, difficulty 2.
The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.
The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
Template information:
T-26 is a Soviet light tank manufactured from 1931 to 1941. Many modifications were issued. At all times, the tank had good armor protection and a powerful 45 mm cannon. The T-26 took part in all the conflicts of its time: in the Spanish Civil War, in the Khalkhin Gol conflicts and near Lake Khasan, it was directly involved in the Winter War and, of course, the Great Great Patriotic War. However, the journey of the combat vehicle did not end after the end of production, the T-26 also took part in the Soviet offensive against Japan. The tank crew loved an undemanding vehicle, it was possible to fight it deftly, but the weak frontal armor, gasoline engine and obsolete cannon at the beginning of World War II made the tank not suitable for military operations, so until August 1941 it was used only as an infantry support tank.
