Zvezda Snap Kit snap-in kit

The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.

The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.

Sturmgeschütz III was a German assault cannon built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. It is the most widespread and most significant modification of this tank and the most widespread type of German heavy armor from the period of World War II. Versions A to E were armed with a 7.5 cm StuK 37 L / 24 cannon, version E was additionally supplemented by an MG 34 machine gun. Armor was designed primarily to support infantry. However, the fighting on the Eastern Front showed the urgent need for a means of combat that could face a large number of heavily armored Soviet tanks. This fact led to the accelerated development of a new generation of these assault guns, which was to serve as an effective means of combating enemy tanks. Thus were created versions of the Stug III F and Stug III G, armed with a 7.5 cm cannon and two machine guns. Machines of this new generation were sometimes referred to as StuG 40. A total of 10,619 pieces of this equipment were produced during World War II.
