Plastic model and instructions.
Plastic model Zvezda 6171 - British tank Matilda II in 1: 100 scale. The kit contains 10 pieces, length 57 mm, difficulty 2.
The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.
The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
Template information:
Matilda Mk.II was a British tank used during World War II, designed in 1937 to obtain a machine comparable to similar tanks from other countries. The crew of the tank consisted of four men, the armament consisted of a 40 mm cannon, which was coupled with a machine gun caliber 7.7 or 7.92 mm. During the tests, the Matilda Mk.II proved very successful. Almost the only weak point of the tank was its low speed, which was a tribute to good armor protection. Compared to German tanks, Matilda did very well and exceeded them in a number of parameters. A total of 2,987 Mk.II tanks were produced.
