Plastic model and instructions.
Plastic model Zvezda 6202 - Soviet heavy tank KV-2 in 1: 100 scale. The kit contains 12 pieces, length 45 mm, difficulty 2.
The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.
The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
Template information:
KV-2 was a Soviet heavy tank and assault cannon, produced as the second variant of the KV series. Production took place in the years 1940-1941. At the time of the creation of KV-1, a request was issued to develop a tank that could destroy the enemy's fortified points. The result of the development was a heavy tank KV-2, which shared with the KV-1 chassis and hull, but was equipped with a rotating tower, which was mounted 152 mm howitzer M-10T. The disadvantage of the KV-2 was the high construction, insufficient engine power and its considerable weight. A total of 334 KV-2s were produced.
