Description

The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.

The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.

ISU-152 was a Soviet self-propelled gun used during World War II, which was nicknamed "Zveroboj", because it managed to destroy even a heavy German tank Tiger in one go. In 1943, another variant of the self-propelled gun was created, which was built on the chassis of IS series tanks. It was originally planned that only a machine with a 152 mm howitzer would be produced. However, as it was not possible to ensure an adequate number of these weapons, it was decided to equip part of the production of self-propelled guns 122 mm cannons, which resulted in a self-propelled gun ISU-122. However, most of the production consisted of machines with 152 mm howitzers. In the years 1943–1944, about 2,500 ISU-152 self-propelled guns were produced. To succeed in the fight with the new German tanks, he was called "Zveroboj" - an animal hunter following the names of enemy tanks (Tiger, Panther). The disadvantage was the small supply of ammunition carried and due to the divided ammunition and low charging speed.
