Plastic model and instructions.
Plastic model Zvezda 7408 - American combat helicopter Hughs AH-64 Apache in scale 1: 144. The kit contains 21 pieces, length 105 mm, difficulty 3.
The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.
The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
Template information:
The AH-64 Apache is an American combat helicopter used from the end of the Cold War to the present. He replaced the older type AH-1 Cobra in the service.
It can carry up to 16 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles or 76 unguided Hydra 70 missiles, or a combination of them, on the short wings on the sides. The machine has a 30 mm M230 cannon installed under its nose. The machine can operate day and night even in adverse weather conditions.
The Apache was designed in the 1970s as a helicopter to combat armored vehicles. It was designed to detect and destroy tanks in highly mobile combat and could also provide fire support to ground units. It was developed from the prototype Hughes YAH-64, which first took off in 1975.
