Plastic model, prints and instructions.
Plastic model Zvezda 6291 – Sd.Kfz.164 Nashorn tank in 1:100 scale. The kit contains 30 parts, length 111 mm, difficulty 1.
The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.
The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
Information about the template
The German tank destroyer "Nashorn" ("Rhino") was one of the first self-propelled guns of the Wehrmacht with the famous 88 mm gun mounted on it. It was serially produced from February 1943 to March 1945, a total of 494 units were built. One of the strengths of the Nashorn self-propelled gun was a powerful gun capable of penetrating the frontal armor of most tanks at a distance of up to 2,000 m. It was intended for combat against Soviet heavy tanks. "Nashorns" were actively used by soldiers until the end of the war.
