Template information:
McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) The F-15E Strike Eagle is an American multi-role fighter designed for all-weather combat and ground targets developed from the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. The F-15E was designed in the 1980s to penetrate high speeds over long distances without having to rely on escorts or aircraft for electronic warfare. The US Air Force (USAF) F-15Es are recognizable from other US F-15 variants by darker camouflage and additional tanks adjacent to the powertrain intake.
The F-15E was deployed during operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and elsewhere. During these operations, the missions carried out deep in enemy territory against high-value targets, air patrols and direct air support to coalition forces. They have also been exported to several countries.
