For 30 years, F-14Ds have been the backbone of the US Navy's air defenses. To this day, this aircraft is one of the most modern weapon systems starting from aircraft carriers.

Tomcat has long been one of the legendary fighters of the US Navy and is one of the last to have weapons platforms placed on an aircraft carrier. Production of the F-14D began in March 1990 and included improved electronics, a new onboard radar system and avionics adaptations. This most powerful version of the F-14 is capable of carrying a significant amount of outdoor cargo, such as the AIM-54 Phoenix and AIM-120 AMRAAM. Maximum speed is 2.34 Mach.
