Information about the template:
Chevrolet Camaro is a sports car manufactured by Chevrolet, a division of General Motors, commonly referred to as a muscle car or rather a pony car. It went on sale on September 29, 1966 as a 1967 model year and was introduced as a competitor to the Ford Mustang.
The first-generation Camaro debuted in September 1966. It was produced for the 1967 through 1969 model years on the new rear-wheel drive GM F body platform as a two-door 2+2 in coupe and convertible models. The base engine was 2 six-cylinders (3.8 L and 4 L) and 6 fork eight-cylinders (from 5.3 L to 6.5 L) as options.
The first generation was available in Super Sport, Rally Sport and, from December 1966, high-performance Z/28 models. It came with hood and trunk stripes (which could be optioned at no charge), styled road wheels, and a special 302 cu in (4.9 L) V8 engine developed for Trans Am series racing. In 1968, the front air vents disappeared and safety side marker lights appeared. The first generation Camaro lasted until the 1969 model year and eventually inspired the design of the new retro fifth generation Camaro.
