Airbus Helicopters H145, formerly Eurocopter EC 145 is a twin-engine multipurpose helicopter of the medium weight category, manufactured since 2002 by Airbus Helicopters (formerly Eurocopter). The machine is powered by two Turboméca Arriel 1E2 turboshaft engines. The helicopter seats up to nine passengers, has a flat floor throughout and is accessible from both sides and the rear. The cockpit is glass, there are no analog instruments and all flight parameters are shown on LCD displays. The only exception is the five backup devices.
In the medical configuration, it can transport up to two lying injured patients and three members of the medical staff. It can be equipped with a winch for rescue actions in the undercarriage or for cranes, a reflector for searching for people and other rescue means.
