The Porsche 934 was a specially prepared racing version of the Porsche 911 Turbo. It was built to meet the FIA Group 4 rules and to continue to succeed in the Marque class. Homologation requirements stipulated that at least 400 road vehicles should be produced within two years. The dimensions of road and racing cars were to be the same and changes throughout were to be limited except for safety.

The Type 934 was equipped with a turbocharger that helped the engine reach more than 480 horsepower. In 1977, the valves were widened and horsepower rose to over 550. To meet the 1120 kg rule, the interior was stripped of many non-essential items. Major modifications were not allowed, which meant that the electric windows remained in contact.

In both the European GT Championship and the TransAm Championship, the Porsche 934 was a dominant force. The highlight was from 1977 to 1979 when it captured three consecutive class wins at the legendary 24 Hours of LeMans.

The name Jägermeister winds like the orange thread of German and international motorsport. Jägermeister's extremely successful involvement in motorsport began in 1972. To this day, racing cars with a recognizable orange design are in the minds of motorsport fans.
