Plastic model and instructions.
Plastic model Zvezda 6129 - Soviet tank BT-5 in 1: 100 scale. The kit contains 8 pieces, length 57 mm, difficulty 2.
The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.
The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
Template information:
BT stands for a number of Red Army light tanks used in the 1930s and 1940s. The tanks were powered by Mikulin M-5 and M-6 engines, whose designs were created during the First World War. Later, Mikulin M-17 engines were used, which were based on the German BMW VI. During World War II, BT tanks reached the end of their service life. The last copies of the BT-5 and BT-7 were deployed in 1944 and 1945 on the side fronts. The BT-5 version produced 1,884 pieces.
