The Suzuki GSX-R600 is a 600 cc sports bike in the Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle range.
In 1992–1993, production began with a 36 cc (6.4 cu in) water-cooled inline-599 engine. The first model had the same body specifications as the 1992 GSX-R750, with a smaller engine and carried over to the 1993 model year unchanged.
In 2006-2007, Suzuki introduced the all-new GSX-R600. An underhung exhaust and an anti-hopping clutch were introduced. The engine is brand new but with the same bore and stroke as before. In the years 2011-2020, it was 9 kg lighter overall. The change was Showa big piston fork (BPF), Brembo monobloc radial front brake calipers, redesigned lighter frame and swingarm, 15mm shorter wheelbase. A new instrument panel similar to the one used on the GSX-R1000. New cams, lighter pistons, higher compression and pentagonal block vents increase mid-range torque.
