Information about the template:
Mercedes-Benz EQS (V297) is a battery-electric full-size luxury liftback manufactured by the German automaker Mercedes-Benz Group. It was released in September 2021 in Germany and in the fourth quarter of the year in the United States. As a battery electric vehicle, it is part of the Mercedes-Benz EQ family. Four versions of EC were planned for April 2022.
In order to achieve the best possible aerodynamic shape of the body, the developers gave the liftback a wedge-shaped profile. They also equipped the car with frameless doors, retractable handles, aerodynamically and acoustically optimized mirror covers and special 19-21 inch rims. The bottom of the car was made as smooth as possible to avoid turbulence. As a result, these and other optimizations enabled an incredibly low drag coefficient of 0.20 (0.22 for the S-Class sedan).
Mercedes electric flagship debuts in two versions:
- Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+: electric motor with a power of 333 hp and 568 Nm on the rear axle, traction battery with a capacity of 107.8 kWh, power reserve in the WLTP cycle - 530 km, acceleration time to "hundreds" - 6.2 s , top speed – 210 km/h.
- Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic: two electric motors (one on each axle) with a total output of 523 hp and 855 Nm, battery 107.8 kWh, range without recharging - approx. 500 km, acceleration from rest to 100 km/h – 4.3 s, top speed – 210 km/h.
