The C/K is a line of trucks that was produced by General Motors from the 1960 model years to 2002. Marketed by the Chevrolet and GMC divisions, the C/K series included a wide variety of vehicles. While most commonly associated with pickup trucks, the lineup also included cab chassis and medium-duty trucks, and served as the basis for GM's full-size SUVs.
For production in 1985, GM Brazil introduced the 20 model series as its second generation of light trucks. Sharing a cabin structure with the "Rounded Line" generation, the 20 Series received its own front fascia and larger taillights than its American counterpart. Much more advanced in design than its utilitarian predecessor, the 20 Series carried a bit more than its previous generation powerplants. (For 1981, the engine lineup was reduced to two, with the 4.1 L inline six offered in gasoline and ethanol (C-10 and A-10) and Perkins 4236 (D10) versions. In addition to the 20 Series pickups, GM Brazil offered a full line of Chevrolet medium and heavy trucks derived from the "Rounded Line" cab.
For 1992, the 20 Series underwent a minor exterior revision, again sharing headlights with the Opala (higher trim vehicles shared wheels with GMT400 pickups); The interior has undergone a redesign and received a redesigned instrument panel.
