The Red Bull Racing RB16 and RB16B are Formula One racing cars designed and built to compete in the 2020 and 2021 Formula One World Championship respectively. They were powered by the Honda RA620H (2020) and RA621H (2021) engines, which were the second and by the third Red Bull, which used engines from a Japanese manufacturer.
For the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix, the colors of the RB16B and driver suits were red and white, inspired by the color Honda won its first Formula 1 race with, the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix. The livery was originally intended to be used at Honda's home race, the Japanese Grand Prix, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The RB16B became the first non-Mercedes car to win any championship since 2013, Honda became the first Japanese and Asian engine supplier world champion in the turbo-hybrid era, and became one of two championship cars with Mercedes-AMG F1. W12
