The Mercedes Benz Arocs 2640 six-wheel chassis is powered by a 290 kW diesel engine that meets the Euro VI emission standard. The vehicle reaches a maximum speed of 120 km/h with it. The driven axles – i.e. the two rear axles – are equipped with a differential lock, and there is also a stabilizer on all three axles. The gearbox is automated, the auxiliary drive for the superstructure can only be engaged from neutral. The combined connection of compressed air and Rettbox Air charging is disconnected automatically after the vehicle is started. The cabin is medium-long, three-seater, equipped with air conditioning and independent heating.
