Probably the most significant innovation of the California T, a roadster with a fixed folding roof, is the use of a new engine. Until now, Ferrari California had an atmospherically filled eight-cylinder with a volume of 4.3 liters, output of 490 hp (360 kW). The chassis has been re-adjusted to key components and new springs, which should lead to an acceleration of the car's reactions to steering wheel movements. Most of the surface parts of the body have changed, from the radiator grille to the headlights to the diffuser in the rear bumper. The dashboard received a partially digital instrument panel and a modified center console with a new 6.5-inch touch screen.
