Jeep's smallest crossover made its official presentation at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014.
The American brand Jeep ventures into the waters of small urban crossovers with the Renegade model built on the foundations of the Fiat 500L, whose name, translated as "Apostate", quite describes it. As the first crossover in the B-segment to offer a nine-speed automatic transmission, there will also be a choice of manual five- and six-speed transmissions or a six-speed dual-clutch box.
Modern powertrains appear in the menu - two petrol and two diesel. Gasoline will be burned by 1.4 MultiAir2 engines in the power versions (138 hp and 168 hp) and 1.6 E.TorQ (108 hp), diesel will run in the 1.6 MultiJet II (118 hp) and 2.0 MultiJet II (167 hp) engines. In addition, both fourteen-hundred-petrol petrol stations will receive a stop / start system at the base.
