The new Fiat 500 was introduced on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the start of production of the original type 500, for differentiation it is sometimes referred to as the Nuova 500 (Czech new 500). The Fiat 500 is based on the Trepiuno concept, introduced in 2004 at the Geneva Motor Show. In terms of appearance, it is almost the same.
