Information about the template:
The Hawker Hunter is a 2nd generation British transonic jet fighter from the late 1940s and early 1950s developed by Hawker Aircraft for the Royal Air Force. It was designed to take advantage of the newly developed Rolls-Royce Avon jet engine and swept wing.
The Hunter FGA.9 was a single-seat ground attack version for the RAF. All were modified from F.6 aircraft. It had a strengthened wing, built-in 230-gallon fuel tanks, a tail slide, increased oxygen capacity, and weight in the climb control circuit to increase power during ground attack maneuvers.
